Welcome to Creative Home Interiors. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our design and renovation services. By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety.
The scope of any renovation project is defined in the written proposal and design agreement provided before work begins. Any changes to scope during the project are documented through written change orders signed by both parties. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing are defined only in the signed proposal, which supersedes any verbal conversation or general description.
Design concepts, drawings, material schemes, and layout proposals developed by the studio remain the intellectual property of Creative Home Interiors until full payment for the design phase is received. Once paid, the client receives a license to use the design for the agreed project only. Unauthorized reproduction or use by third parties is prohibited.
Material selections made during the design process — such as tile, cabinetry, fixtures, and finishes — are documented in a specifications schedule. Substitutions are reviewed for compatibility before being approved in writing. We reserve the right to suggest equivalent luxury alternatives if specified products become commercially unavailable.
Project timelines provided in the construction schedule are estimates based on known conditions. Unforeseen site conditions, weather, or material lead times may affect the schedule, and the studio will communicate any significant changes as they arise. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
The client agrees to provide reasonable access to the property for the duration of the renovation. The studio is not responsible for pre-existing conditions discovered during demolition that were not visible at the time of proposal. Clients must disclose any known structural issues, water damage, or code violations before design work begins.
Any modification to the agreed scope — whether initiated by the client or prompted by site conditions — is handled through a written change order specifying the work, cost adjustment, and schedule impact. Work proceeds only after the change order is signed by both parties. Verbal requests for changes will not be acted upon until documented.
The studio coordinates permit applications and inspections as part of full renovation projects, working with local building departments to ensure the work complies with applicable codes. Permit fees are typically included in the project budget unless otherwise specified. Final permit closure is ultimately issued by the local authority.
The studio engages qualified subcontractors for specialized trades such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. The studio remains the primary point of contact for the client and is responsible for coordinating trade schedules and overseeing the quality of work. All subcontractors are required to provide proof of insurance before commencing work.
Certain materials — custom cabinetry, specialty tile, imported stone, or made-to-order fixtures — have lead times that can extend several weeks or months. The studio provides estimated lead times during material selection and communicates any delays as soon as they are known. We cannot guarantee vendor lead times or control product discontinuation.
Payments are structured according to milestones defined in the project agreement — typically an initial deposit, payments at completion of demolition, rough-in, and finishing stages, and a final payment upon project handover. Late payments may incur fees and pause material procurement. The initial deposit is non-refundable once design work has begun.
Renovation work performed by Creative Home Interiors carries a workmanship warranty for a period specified in the project agreement. Manufacturer warranties on materials, fixtures, and appliances are passed through to the client, and the studio assists with warranty claims where installation is involved. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party modifications.
Upon completion of the renovation, a final walkthrough is conducted with the client to review every element of the work. A punch list of any remaining items is created, addressed, and signed off before the project is considered complete. Final payment is due prior to handover of the completed project.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Creative Home Interiors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, special, or exemplary damages arising from the use of our services or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Our aggregate liability is limited to the contract value of the specific engagement.
These terms are construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the studio is registered. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt good-faith resolution through written negotiation. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall proceed to mediation, and if mediation fails, to binding arbitration.
These Terms & Conditions may be revised, updated, or modified periodically to reflect legal requirements, operational changes, or service improvements. Updated versions become effective immediately upon publication unless otherwise specified. Continued engagement of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
